Job Summary

The Deutsche Bundesbank is seeking two Developers to contribute to the future of European payment transactions by implementing Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)-based solutions for Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). This role involves hands-on software development, extending beyond traditional coding to actively shape the digital euro's infrastructure. Successful candidates will integrate blockchain technologies with traditional payment systems, focusing on both backend and frontend development. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in an innovative, agile environment with flat hierarchies, fostering experimentation and new ideas. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a MINT field (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Technology)

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a MINT field
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in software development, ideally in both backend and frontend development
